Guys,
Please see the image attached.
I'm using structural columns in the project.
Two columns next to the building skin are same family with same material. Still the hatch pattern isnt visible.
Also the top offset of the column where the pattern isnt visible is grey and cant be modified.
The columns in the middle are of different family(with capitals),but the material is the same in both the cases.
Still the hatch isnt visible in the plan.
Please help to solve these two issues.

You will need to compare the families. Similar is not same.
