I am having a tought time figuring this one out. I am using Revit 2014 and have a multi-layered wall (CMU-Mtl. Stud-Gyp Bd.) and have unlocked the CMU layer to exented it 1' down to the wall footing. The issue is that when I apply a wall footing from the 'Structure - Wall Fountain' icon it applys the footing to both the extended CMU portion (which is the structure on the wall assembly) as well as the Metal Stud portion which stops at the slab. Any idea on why this is happening? Check out the pictures attached.

I had never had this situation so I tested this and it works exactly as you say.  Your solution is to use a seperate stem wall.

Thanks WWHub. I figured that is what would have to be done. Stange bug/issue though.
