Is there a way to modify the view title bubble where the numbering convention begins with 01 instead of 1?  Everytime I drag a view into a sheet I have to add a zero infront of the number. I thought I could figure it out but have had no luck. Does anyone know a solution? Any input is appreciated.

I tried the method listed in the clock video, but unfortunately, the Detail Number parameter that populates the bubble does not seem to be available for use in formulas in the Family Editor.

Anybody have any other ideas?

You cannot do this automatically with the built in finctionality of Revit (can possibly do it with Dynamo), however you can do as follows:

  • edit your view title family
  • duplicate the label (have both labels in the same position, I have shown them separate for clarity)
  • edit one of the labels to have a "0" suffix
  • add a visibilty parameter to both labels
  • load back into project
  • make a type for the view title with the '0' suffix and one without
  • Make a new viewport type that uses the new '0' suffixed view title type

You will need to manually set all the viewports with a value less than 10 to the '0' type.

Here is the image, for some reason it did not load into the previous post and was not allowing me to edit it.
