I am trying to make a material takeoff. It has some materials that are estimated using area and others using volume. How can i achieve this in same material takeoff. An example of this would be cost of Wall Core using volume and its Surface layers using area. Is there any way to do it ? Any help would be appreciated.

You might be able to but it would be a complicated schedule. I would use seperate schedules and filter them. We add a project parameter to all elements for use in areas like this.
