I have found that closing and reopening a file is necessary to give the correct solstice dates in Sun Settings after the location is set to anywhere in the southern hemisphere.
Not major, just frustrating. I was searching for some time for a way to correct the dates.

I have not tried this (or heard of this problem) but do you have all of the updates and service packs downloaded for your version of Revit?
