Help :-)
I cant get out of editing my detail GROUP (not component). See its still black and all the rest is greyed out. Ive lost where the command is to get out. escape doesnt work. I can only end the program to get out of it. where is the red X that lets me stop editing my detail group.

2011 has two updates that fixed issues.
In addition, if you installed 2014 (and or maybe 14), that would have messed up a dll that I know 2012 uses.
So start first by installing the 2 updates (service packs)

Thanks HUB. Ill check the updates.
also just to add the go around I found.
After a restart I went to a plan view to mess with the command some more, and when i clicked edit group (in the plan view) the little pallete showed up on the field, then I picked up the pallette and set it back on the toolbar, locking it on. then went back to my elevation view and the pallete was back.
