Hi, I am working with Revit 2013. In our practice we will always import inspiration and material sample images into Revit using the drag and drop function. Ideally, I want to take a windowed screenshot and paste it directly from the clipboard into Revit. However, I cannot seem to be able to do this. Is there a way around this without saving the image first?

Images can only be inserted as a .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, and .tif. You would need to change your screenshot to one of those formats (I amlost always use .jpeg) and also save it somewhere where Revit can find the path.

I was afraid so in that regard. PNG is my go to file choice, it can hold the transparency level.
thanks
