I'm trying to link my Revit 2013 file in 3DS Mas Design 2013 and the materials do not transfer. Tutorials and other posts say this should be a done deal with default settings and there should be no reason to export to FBX. Why would this happen?

Thanks.

Tried exporting to FBX and materials still don't transfer to Max. What's the deal? Tried different display drivers and renderers still don't have any of my materials = frustrating.

It looks like lights don't export either. I guess this just isn't something that works yet. It's nice to be able to link the model, but it would certainly be nicer if materials and lights were able to tranfer for rendering so that you don't have duplicate work. Would have been nice to have this feature for my workflow. If anyone has any other insight on this I wold definitely appreciate it.
