bjwson active Joined: Sat, Nov 25, 2006 66 Posts	Hi, is there a AutoCAD lisp equivalent, in revit...to hide category, i mean when i type the command (shortcut) from keyboard, lets say, it should switch off all "reference planes" etc. just in current view is fine. if that is possible, i would like to take it furthur, extending it to switch Off certain things in Link files etc. as you may know. lets say to switch off Grids or any other thing in a link file, you have to go through 100 windows and clicks before you can switch off (i know the way of managing worksets.....) im looking if possible in this way. cheers W

dgcad active Joined: Thu, Mar 17, 2005 1231 Posts	You'll need to create a 'macro' which is easier said than done. If you know any VBA it helps. Definiately no where near as easy as autolisp.
