Hey guys,

We are trying to export one of our HVAC layout drawings from Revit 2013 to AutoCAD but come across a problem when doing so. The lining hatch that we use to denote a specific insulation thickness doesn't come across into the autocad file, The hatch patterns we are using are standard AutoCAD ones so we don't know what the problem is. What is even weirder is the same hatching that is on some of our diffusion items comes across into AutoCAD but not on the duct work. Any idea's on what me be the problem?

Thanks,

The bad news is, exporting hatch patterns from REVIT to DWG has never been pretty. Did you try dabbling with the fields on the 'Patterns' tab of the Export dwg / dgn dialog box ?

Yep we tried changing all that with no luck, I have had it on other jobs when I have exported from Revit to DWG the hatch on half the job will work then the other half will not come thru or it will come through as a solid hatch etc.
