I've got some custom cabinet families I've created, and in some cases they will be set on a solid cabinet base and in others will be set on casters or, lastly, on legs.
I have imported nested families which contain the leg or caster.
Is there a way to have the legs or casters conditionally appear or disappear in a view with a simple yes/no parameter pick? If so, how do I tie a specific view of the piece, say the leg with the yes/no pick?

Select the nested family. In its instance or type properties, find the parameter you would like to control in the main family. All the way to the right there is an unlabled button, click it and it will let you select a parameter in the main family (or create a new parameter) to control the parameter in the nested family. You can do this for any parameter, not just Yes/No parameters.
