I am trying to insert a terracotta wall panel (downloaded from online) into a wall but every time I try to load that family into the project, I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Is there a way of knowing if the panel exists? Could this be happening because it is incompatible based on the year of revit it was created in? (Working on proj. in 2014 but don't know what year the online family was created)
Thanks, Chris

where is the location you downloaded the family to?
you need to include the location in your paths.
click on the big R in top left corner, then click on options|file locations|places and add your location/s.
cheers
