I am trying to create an organic ceiling treatment in my revit project. Ideally, it would start at about 7' and arch and wave to attach a series of columns and curved walls creating a 3d effect within the space. My initial thought was to create a new sweep almost like a 3' cove and have it wrap around all of my elements, however this just created a chaotic arch effect. I am trying to form something more cohesive. Is there a way to create a custom ceiling? Or am I going to have to create a series of like 3000 masses.

Do you have an image of what you are trying to do? It sounds like a mass is what you will end up using however.

This is not exactly what I am trying to do, but it would be produced the same way as what I am trying to create.

You will have to do this as a mass and voids. I am not well versed in massing so someone else on here may be able to give you futher information.
