Could you please advise a solution for changing the identity data information and heights by possibly adding formulas.
We create wall partitioning within nested families and we add identity data such as ‘model no’ etc for scheduling purposes in Revit 2013.
We would now like to add parameters to increase the width or height of some of the components. We have set heights for example 25mm , 40mm and 50mm. If we change the parameter to a set height, is it possible to add a formula to automatically change the identity data as well as the height of a component?
So for example:
If the composent height is;
25mm - then the identity data ‘model no.’ is to be 0271
40mm – then the identity data ‘model no.’ is to be 0272
50mm – then the identity data ‘model no.’ is to be 0275
If this can be done, it will save us time from creating additional panels. Your advise on this issue will be much appreciated.
