Hello everybody!. I have created a conceptual mass, which is a swept blend, with a curved path. it´s loaded into a project but, if I wnat to create a curtain system by face, in that curved face, it creates de vertical grid ok (vertical, as I want it to be), but the horizontal grid is created with curved lines, and I want the regular straight horizontal lines, parallel to the floors.
Check the attachments.
Also, if I create a curtain system from two or more coplanar adjacent faces, revit creates a different pattern in each one of them, instead of one big continuous grid. Is there any way to fix that?
best regards and thanks in advance for your help

If the wall face is vertical, then use a tradition curtainwall - you will be far - far better off.

well, the face is vertical, but it´s height is variable, and I can´t find either a way to modify the profile of a curved curtain wall.
I´ve attached a sample file of the geometry
thank you

I actually think this will be easier for you. The wall is attached at the top to the work plane I established. In addition - I will never use splines when I can approximate the same thing with curves. You can build curves far easier than splines or partial ovals. So you partial oval shape is defined in plan by 3 curves.
You will have to adjust the ends of one CW to exclude the mullions that are in the next CW. I didn't take time to do that.

yes, your totally right, arcs are easier to parametrize and build.
But it would be great that revit could build a regular pattern curtain system on a complex face. I think for the internal calculations it would be even easier than calculating the interpolated middle curves.
anks for your time

I don't think you should need very detailed calculations. I got very close just by eye. A little tweaking after that and I doubt you will find any difference. Remember, curtain walls and glass are flat plane elements that approximate a curve.
