One of my users is getting an error message that reads, "Unable to write to <FamilyName>, it is read-only or opened by someone else," when he tries to save any family. No one is in these families, so this sounds like yet another of Revit's quirky behaviors. We are not losing any information because he is loading it in the project itself, but this is rather annoying. Any thoughts as to what might be happening?
For reference, we are in Revit build 20110916_2132(x64) Update Release 2.

This is not a Revit problem - check your permissions. We have our families in a library that is controlled by just a couple of people. No one else can write to that location.
