Hi,For a university project I am designing a curved roof gridcell structure.I have made the curved surface in the massing environment and used voids to cut the desired roof face out of the larder surface. I than divided the roof surface with custom intersect lines to get a non uniform grid, so far so good.I than made 2 adaptive component families, one the straight structural members and the other the circular node. I loaded these into a square based pattern family and placed it on the divided surface, after a bit of thinking revit gave me what I wanted as seen in images 1 and 2. You can see that the pattern based family instances are trimmed down by the void same void used to cut the mass surface.However when I loaded the mass family into a project file the pattern families were no longer cut even though the surface bellow them is still cut as seem in image 3.I have tried to figure out why, but I am at my knowledge limit.Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?Thanks
