I have a problem with revit 2013 - everything was fine for one month- My revit2011 runs ? no problem.  So I open the project in 2013 and start working on it I move few things, edit text, and revit gets stuck, on the top it says::: (Not Responding) you click again, screen goes white- if you try to close the program - It says the program may respond agan if you wait.. I can End Process - I can minimize, windows is running  I tried different drawings, it does the same thing. I tried everything I possibly could: update my graphic drivers, windows updates, re-install revit, I did clean the temp files, registry cleaning--- no luck...

my comp spec: win 7 professional 64 bit, 8gb ram running on xeon e5630 @2.53ghz (4 cpus)~2.5ghz

comp model : Dell T3500

How many windows do you have active when this happens?  Revit has to update every active window when you change a model element.   Depending on view settings, this can be a problem.

You don't say if you have hardware acceration turned on or off.  Turn it off and see what happens.

Also - you don't say if you have both updates installed for 2013.  If not, then install those.

Sorry, with Acc off or On, no luck (no graphics-related problems detected) I even updated my revit to release 3.

Did you restart revit after turning hardware acceleration off?  It has to be restarted.

what i see now is: even when I click on the menu bars, without loading up the project - it freezes.  Maybe has to do something with windows it self? But my autocad is working and revit 2011.... strange.... very strange.

I think I Found the problem guys,

Usually the best solution is to see which program/addon you installed last. few days ago I installed ProjectWise - I thought about this The day before, well I uninstalled projectwise from my computer, everything is working fine.

Oh well, problem solved. thanks!

I realize the issue wasn't enough ram, but you might want to consider boosting up to 12Gb RAM anyway.  What video card are you running?

NVidia Quatro FX 1800 -After uninstalling projectwise, everything went back to normal.

I'm going to boost my memory to  12 GB.  I monitor the memory usage and sometimes I reach 8gb.
