is there any shortcut to allow us to return to Design Options' "Main Model"?
The dropdown bar at the bottom is great but still could be enhenced by a shortcut, if possible.

There is no shortcut of this. Someone else asked the same question and had no positive answer.
Actually if Revit allows us to assign short cut to not only Main Model but also certain Design Options, it would great as well.
Let's put it in the wishlit.
