I want to put a window family into the project, but it doesn't appear. Visibility settings are on.

It is in the project browser under families, but I cannot drag it into the project.

If anyone knows anything, then please comment.

Thank you

Hi Mies219,

Some families can not use drag and drop to put into a project, curtain wall window is one of them.

Try following steps, similar as to place a door into a curtain wall.

1. Go to elevation view, pick that curtain wall, use tab key to pick the panel which you want to replace with slide window.

2. Un-pin that panel. Then you will see the change in "Properties" panel, the "System Panel Glazed" with be un-shaded.

3. Click the down arrow on the right, which will open a pull down window.

4. Select "Curtain_Wall_Window_-_........", which will replace that panel to a slider.

If you just want to place a slider into a regular wall, you should not use curtain wall windows.
