Hi All,
3 year user, love Revit city.
I am trying to achieve an architectural truss for a garden beam, refer file
I have created a custom 50X50 web with a 45 degree cutback which works, but the webs both vertical & diagonal wont extend/ attach to the top & bottom chords.
have tried unchecking cutback but still no joy, anyone? RVT 2014

Ended up using a balustrade after exploring hours of options. seems to be the best way if its not a structural member that need analasys.
please feel free to use it and modify as required.
this one is 500x500 Boxes 50shs top and bottom with 35 webbing.
saves modeling in place, just modify the individual profiles of the balustrade to suit your design.
