Hello, probobly this is a very dumb question,

I'm creating several family types in a family editor; It is a louver (curtain wall panel) family including 3 or more types with diffirent profiles.

When one type is active, the others are in halftone but this is not enough for me; because of their similarity, I need to hide the rest elements from other types to show the current more clearly, which takes time to identify each to them and hide.

Any way to select all elements by type and hide by one shot? or any other recommendation?

Also when in family editor, where can you tell a type is active except going to Family Type window.

Thanks,

Are you talking about hiding while in the family editor?  ...Because obviously, only one type can exist in the same place at a time in a project.

Your question is quite confusing. By different types do you mean different Family Types like 'Plumbing fixture, light fixture, mass etc..'? If that is what it is ,, then you can control using 'View Templates' you can find it in your 'Properties' dialog box. If you are creating differnt families within the same category or type.. maybe you can just right click and select similar ?? I don't know. Maybe you can be a little clear with your question.

Thanks, guys; I just rephrased the topic and content. It's in family editor. please take a second look.

I just notice there is Group commend in family editor, this could be helpful a bit.
