Greeting to all,

I'm trying to makes section on my view in revit... but takes a lot of time to complete it..

it goes to :  generating graphics.....

need your help..

Hi. Have you tried to section in another location? Does it give the same error?

How deep is your section?  Does Revit have to deal with a lot of hidden elements?

Are you doing a simple shaded or hidden-line view?

Do you hav a lot of entourage elements like trees and shrubs?

^^^^ Those are probably your problem.

Thanks for you,

the problem,

because i played with the defult template, i changed it with another one,

and every time i need to make a section , REVIT goes and follow the requested template..

and when i put the defult template back... everything goes fine....

2013 and 14 now lock view templates with views.  When you start your section, pick the type of section and click on edit type.  You can set what view template to apply to the new section (or none).
