hi!
i am trying to create a sofa for living room based on the existing shape.so i want to model using in place mass to use sweep blend, extrude and other option. however when i click in place mass in massing and site tab, forms tab with the swep blend etc is not seen. i also tried using component-model in place.again same problem.there are no Forms options. i did i it once before but since then (5inths back)it has never worked again. can you plese tell e where am i going wrong.i have attached image of screen when i open component-model in place or massing & site-in place mass.
i always find solutions to my problems here hoping to do so now too
thanks a lot in advance.

hi
your menu looks normal, i suggest you read your help file on how to use massing
in your in-place massing editor.
use point to create workplane or just draw your sofa profile
then select all the lines (model lines) and click create forms (extrude)
or if you draw your path that is touching your profile and you click create forms it will sweep.
normally, you need to model your sofa as a family. use a furniture family template instead of massing in place
