Hi, I'm using Revit 2013. A civil engineer has sent me a CSV file containing the XYZ coordinates for highways around my site. I've opened the CSV file, all of the info is there and all of the coordinates look right for my site. When I create a surface from the CSV file I get a warning saying 'Imported Toposurface Points are located a large distance from the model and might not display properly. Points will be centred on the model instead'. It creates the surface but dumps it in completely the wrong place.

I am using shared coordinates and the only thing I can think is that it is locating the surface by coordinates from the project base point and not the survey point. Is there any way to change this? Or any other reason why it would be doing this?

Thanks

Maybe relocate the project before the import so it can actually place the topo in it's correct location rather than centered.

I have had little success with importing 'large' topo surface files. It spins for about 2 hours then I end up shutting downthe program.
