In order to build a foundation plan I have been setting the view to structural. It wasworking fine till now. I have several non-structural columns in this house but for some reason they are showing in my structural view. Is there a way to make them non-structural or should I build them out of something else?

Hi,
I think you can build it as generic model family or other family type and you can hide those in visibility graphics.
Unless there is other way from someone else.

thanks it was great to get an answer. So far I put a new fill region over the bearing columns then turned columns off. Stiill feels like a work around. guess it bugs me that I don't know how to adjust the template perameters. Is there a way to build my own templetes? There is a diffeerence in structural and archifectural columns it would only feel right to me if I could show the post in a structural view and the pre-cast or styrofoam in an architectural view. Am I off base?
