So we've got a head scratcher in Revit Structure 2013: we have some funky shaped gusset plates for structural steel connections that we dcecided to model as quick and dirty extrusions.  After getting them in and getting the details all completed, the next day when the file was opened, all of the gusset plates (about 8 or so of them for a braced frame) were rotated globally and moved.  They were rotated back and re-aligned to their proper positions, and the details were fixed.  The next day when the file was opened, all of the gusset plates had moved again, this time just a couple inches.

Only one person has been working in the file.  Both times after the changes were fixed, the file was saved and exited, with no model work done in between the fix and the move.  The first time it happened, he hadn't pinned or constrained the plates.  When the plates were fixed after the first ghost move, the plates were pinned.  Then they still moved again that second time even though they were now pinned.

Any ideas?  We're stumped.

Have you got CAD in this model?

Are you fully updated on 2013 - I think 3 is the number?
