In the picture attached, I have created a model in place roof sweep with a slate material. On my front and rear elevations, the material is fine; however, on my side elevations, the material has been rotated 90 degrees. Is there a way to rotate the material on these side elevations?

Thank you!!

You mean the "Pattern"? right?

If that's a "Model" pattern just select it and use the "Rotate" tool.

Yes, it is a model pattern. Although, everytime I try to rotate it (by tabbing through and selecting a single line of the pattern) it gives me an error message saying "Can't rotate element into this position." Did I not model the roof sweep correctly?

Obviously Revit is trying to rotate the element - not the pattern.  Your selection process may be wrong so watch what you are selecting as it is noted in the lower left corner of your revit screen.
