Hi, I'm after a bit of guidance regarding a datum line I need to appear on a set of section drawings. I have a site where the tops of the buildings cannot exceed a certain level. The client has requested a big thick green dashed line to be shown on all section and elevation drawings at the specified level. I have somewhere in the region of 50 sections and elevations already setup so going through them all individually is going to be a pain.
My idea was to extrude a surface in 3D at the set level across the whole site, set it not to appear in any views other than sections and include a symbolic thick green line which appears when a section is cut through it. However, I can't set the element not to appear in 3D.
Surely there's an easy way to do this? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Why not a 3D line of appropriate color and type that is placed in a seperate workset that is normally off in all views?
