I have created a matchline in Revit Architecture 2013 and assigned view references to either side of that line.  The relative views have been placed on their respective sheets which are named and numbered.  Unfortunately, the references will not register the relative sheet numbers.  They still just say 'Ref', although in the properties panel it shows that these references clearly know what sheet to reference......it just won't display the reference.

I have even tried shutting Revit down and restarting in case it was a simple glitch....no such luck.  Can anyone help, please?

It sounds like that reference family has been modified.  Edit that family.

Thanks WWHub, but I can see no way to edit this reference family.  Edit Type offers nothing either. Please pardon me, I am still a relative novice.
