Hi,

I am using Revit 2012, and am wondering if there is a way in which i can create a custom label in my titleblock family, which i can update with areas on each sheet.

For example, i have a building with multiple floors, and at our office we calculate the gross, rentable and usable areas of each floor. So i wish to have 3 labels on the sheet, which i can type in the gross, rentable, useable for that floor only. (better yet if there is a way to autopopulate these labels from an area plan- but im ok with having to type it in.)

The titleblock is attatched, and the labels i wish to create would go top right, under space inventory plan.

Any help is greatly appreciated! thanks

No way to make them automatic as you expected.

Just add instance parameters to the sheet family ...

I may be missing something entirley, but how would i add an instance parameter to a label. Basically if i could have 3 labels that appear in properties with other identity data such as sheet number, drawn by etc..

sorry, i am not overly farmiliar with creating families, mostly just from playing around with it. and the most i can find by googling is creating instance parameters to a dimension which changes sizes of an element.

Since you are new to this, I suggest you download the Families Guide.
