Hi All.

When i am editing the shape of a filled region or editing the shape of an extrusion or  floor and i click on finish sketch Revit will come up with a Fatal Error and ask to save a recovery file. Sometimes it saves a recovery and sometimes it does not. i will always loose all the work in the sketch. it doesnt happen all the time, it only seems to do it when i am editing more complex shapes or using alot of lines in the sketch. Does this happen to anyone else? is there a way around it. It happens to other people in my office and we are all working on revit 2013 but has happenend in previous versions also. Any help would be much appreciated> thanks

Did you installed the 3 Web Updates to 2013? Specs. of your machine please??? Ram??

have installed the updates and it still does it.

the specs of my machine are as follow:

Windows 7 Professional

Processor:                           Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 cpu @ 3.40GHz 3.40GHz

Installed Memory:           8.00 GB

64-bit Operation System

Graphics as follow:

Display adapter type NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Total avail. graphics memory   4095

Dedicated graphics memory 1024

i Dont think its the Machine Specs cause it doesnt seem to bad to me.

is there anything else anyone can think of? its getting fraustrating when it shuts off and you loose work that has to be done all over again.

I had the same problem a while back but installing the updates corrected it.

nicolas .... so tell us exactly what your Revit says under the build number in the "about Revit 13" ... dropdown next to the question mark.

Right next to where it says Build it has: 20130531_2115(x64)Update Release 3.

Is that the info you were after?
