hi 1270314521

1.draw a wall with desired thickness. the thing is u need to create new material.  you might want to use a jpg for your texture. convert that texture into a black and white jpg for maps. use your help (F1) to guide you to create your material with maps (transparency, illumination).

2. i guess your looking for glass connector, spider type: http://www.revitcity.com/downloads.php?action=downloadnow&object_id=3615&object_file_type=rfa
