2014. having difficulty moving walls horizontally to match other wall's vertical face that are above or below. they seem to be locked but cant find a way to unlock. also is there a way to get the unlock indicator without having to move them first?

Whenever you pick an object, you can look at the menu bar and see if the unpin or pin is available to you.

To clear a lock on items that are locked by dimension (which may have been deleted or in another view) can be re-dimensioned, locked, then un-locked.

Alignment locks show up when the item is picked.

For moving a wall that is joined to a wall above or below, it is sometimes best to pick the unjoin button.  Be aware that this will delete all dimensions to this wall or any associated tags.
