Can any one recommend a good 3rd party windows and doors package?   Looking for a comlete window line with muntons option and doors with variable swing angle and other options.  I have used the Kolbe and Kolbe downloaded windows for muntoned windows.  Very attractive but super slow: must be too much detail.

I don't believe you will find what you want.

For doors, we modified the stock families to create interior, metal framed (wrap around) doors for drywall walls and HM framed doors for masonry and exterior walls - the door frame width and setbacks are adjustable.  Both families have adjustable swings.  Then we created other families from these with lites, sidelites and louvers.

For window, we like to use as simple a family as we can.  We have tried the Pella and Kolbe windows you can find on Seek but as you found out, these families are hogs and have some function problems.  In most cases, I will use a simple family except when I need divided lite windows.  In those instances, I have adapted some of the commercial families, deleting unused types and functions and otherwise modifying as needed.  We then add or own detail elements for jamb, head & sill details.

Clients want the look of the more comlex window. We've always used the simple ones and note or illustrate the actual window in the schedule or same page, but on current job, wanted the muntons for client and for better rendering.  I know you probably know the marketplace, your opinion is helpful.  Thanks.

I modified the Kolbe for my last muttion windowed project but it was a pain!  Way too complex.  I blew away all of the embedded details (hate those).  Then I deleted unwanted types and then tried to simplify ... but this window is very - very complicated.  Way too may reference planes and adjustments.

Agreed:  Kolbe families take 30-60 seconds to duplicate and modify (as opposed to nearly instant for simple windows), then the same amount of time to insert:  smoke comes out of the CPU.  All I really want is muntons added to the basic families.   I definitely don't feel like building these myself.    Happy to pay the smart people to build them for me.

There are some decent divided lite windows here in the downloads that are easily modified.

A better description of what you need would have been helpful but here is a guess.
