If you're using lighting fixtures that came with the application and/or from this web site you should have no problems. Memember that ceiling light will only attach to a ceiling, so go into a ceiling plan and then load in your light. Wall light will only attach to walls, but you can add them in any view. Also, if your rendering is coming out on the dark side and you want to brighten it up without changing the lights, load studio lights from the imperial library and this will help, but be aware that they show up in all view except 3d view and camera views.
