HELP!
Pulling my hair out over this one! I am trying to install a fire-rated rolling door OVER a window in the same wall! Any ideas? I've tried putting the firedoor in another wall then cutting the geometry. doesn't work. anytime i add the wall to the other wall it acts crazy. Only think I can think of is to actually create two walls OR a stacked wall.
Your input would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
I have attached an image for all you visual people. I need the door on the left to be installed on the wall to the right....

Hi TexasGirl,
The way I did was to create a roll-up door family, and delete the opening cut and the slate.
When I placed it on the plan on the front of regular doors and windows as you had, it has the dashed hood, guide rails and door tag; on elevation, it has the hood and guide rails.
Try to see if that's what you need.
