Numerous videos instruct on being able to edit the top rail of railings in Revit 2013. This function doesn't seem to be working for me. The project was started in 2013 -- not upgraded. I shouldn't have to do anything to activate that capability should I? Any suggestions?
Also, I'm trying to host the rail in the image to the top of the wall it's hovering over. I know I csn host a handrail to a wall, but this particular railing is just a guard rail.
Thanks in advance.

maybe this particular railing, doesnt have top rail assigned. sometimes i only use "rail structure" to create entire railing.
u can just use TAB to select top rail and edit.
