hello am using revit 2013 .... can i exclude some objects from the masking regions ??

Im assuming you are talking about families?  In that case no, you would have to create your masking region around those items.  Only 2D detail items have a drawing priority.

Not model objects!  Redraw the masking region.

Masking regions cover all model objects - there is no way to exclude any.

Masking regions placed over detail objects will mask them.  Detail objects can be placed over masking regions and will show.  You can pick on detail objects and pick send back / forward....  BUT no choices for model objects.

 

If you have modeled correctly, in most cases, you should not need masking regions.  Learn to use edit cut profile for model elements.

thank you so much now i get the idea ..... but i think cut profile works only for sections not for elevations.. am i right ?
