Im having an interesting and frustrating issue. After a certain point in time, seemingly all the lights I place stopped working. In the example below, I had to edit the ceilign grid which deleted my spot lights. Upon replacing them with the same family in the same location, they no longer work. I have tried 3 other light families including the default Studio light. This happened in another rendering on the same project. Lights placed BEFORE whatever point in time still work, such as the low power pendents in the rendering.
Things Ive tried
-double checking light groupings
-double checked render settings (interior and artificial and artificial only were both tried)
-checked lighting power(set at 10000 lumens)
-checked family materials
-checked to make sure they arent phasing through anything
Any more suggestions out there?

Heres a fun update.
Studio lights show up perfectly in rendering A, however in rendering B newly placed studio lights do NOT show up despite there already being studio lights in rendering B. Meanwhile, a light family that works perfectly in rendering B will not show up in rendering A unless drasticly altered, ruining its use for rendering. These lights are all used under near identical situations in different rooms of the SAME PROJECT.
Any thoughts?

What do you mean edit the ceiling grid? You can do that without deleting the ceiling which is what you must have done.
If the cans are recessed, do they cut a hole in the ceiling?
Make sure you don't really have two ceilings.
Remember - the project rules! Once a material is loaded, the project settings control it - not the family. So check that material for the light / lens - in the project.

The ceiling is a model component that was created as a ceiling. It was not deleted, the sweep used to make the grid was shortened. When I did this it stopped hosting the light.
Also, the lights are not cans. The families attempted are a ceiling hosted track light, the formerly reliable gimble light and a studio light.
As an update, after each light family failed on its own, I hid all the other families and just tried the first track light again. The same track light that didnt work for 6 test renders. The light is back. No changes to the light family. No changes to the ceiling. No changes to the light group. It just...ugh
