Have you downloaded all of the service packs updates available?

Hi muhammadfaiz92, I too had this problem with windows 8. I tried reinstalling Revit and still no improvement. I requested help from Autodesk and they sent me a patch which also didn't help.

I gave up and reinstalled Windows 7 as I feel that Windows 8 still has a lot of issues.

Sorry I can't help you on this but just to let you know that you are not the only one with problem and I would also like to see if there is a solution for future.

Thanks

Hi ShayanFallah, Thanks for the update. It's good to know that 2014 works on Windows 8. I still feel that Windows 8 isn't a good platform for larger programs and Autodesk are going to release a patch that makes the system more stable and are bringing back the the start menu : )

We usualy do not migrate to a new version of windows or revit before that the service pack for that version has been released.
