We have a number of projects where we have to delete a portion of a wall. We're trying to figure out how to demo unusual shapes out of a wall. It would be useful to have an edit demolition profile tool that attaches a profile shape to a specific phase. This way the shape of the wall can vary from phase to phase.
Any workarounds?

Workaround # 10003!
You can demo a portion of a wall currently, but it must be square or rectangular shape. You first go in a section view and split the wall where the demo starts/stops. Then go into a plan view and split the wall again where the demo starts/stops. Then you can demo the portion in the middle.

not a perfect work around, but you can insert a door/window opening in a wall, in a later phase and revit will show that 'bit' demolished in a demo view. then all you do is play with your 'opening'. problem is, the opening will appear in schedules,unless you put a filter on it.
