Hi,

So I'm a little bit newer to revit then the rest of you but I am working on a house and have an attic floor.  The Attic floor shows both the attic floor and some roofs next to it because they are low enough to be shown on that floor.  What I want to know is how I can show the roofs above the attic on the attic floor.  I tried doing an underlay but that doesnt work because an underlay shows the elevations under the floor you are working on.  So I was looking for something like an overlay which might show the elevation above the floor you are working on.  Is there a such thing or is there even a way to do that?

Thanks,

 Dan

P.S. If there is already a forum like this you can just post the link.  I tried looking but I couldnt find one on this subject.

You can underlay any level.  I suggest however that you follow the HELP on how to add overhead lines to your plan by pointing to the lines in your underlay.

Just search OVERHEAD in your HELP.
