RAC 2013:

Can a Calculated Value in a (Door) Schedule control an Instance (yes/no) Parameter in a (door) family?

I trying to use set up a door schedule that will compare information about the rooms and set an instance parameter within the door family.  I have found this statement on various blogs but I am unclear of the syntax to use it:

  • Force checked = 1 < 2

Specifically, the 2 adjoining rooms are compared to set 'TRL Room'.  If either room is 'YES' I want to set TRL Door (checked).  When this instance parameter is checked the door schedule will show 'T' in a schedule column and that instance of the door will show a symbol in plan and elevation.

Thank you
