Hello,

I'm looking for a good workaround for creating a good material take off or schedule that tells me how much glass (daylight) area I have in every room. (Revit 2013 architecture)

It concerns a smal private house and for building regulations I'll have to check if there's enough daylight in every room. I could and am doing this manually but that's a very inefficient an old fashioned way.

In can make a material take off of each window or door but the problem is that I need this in the model of the house and not in separate families. I will have to make a connection in the schedule between the area of the room and the area of glass in the windows of that room. That's making things difficult.

Does anybody have an advice on this ? Would be very helpful..

No need telling me that I could look it up in the manuals or via youtube.. I already spend a day or two searching in all kind of solutions..
