We're experimenting with the Browser organisation, we currently have something which works well so far expcept for saved renders. I've attached an extract. The Browser sorts by the first 3 numbers which is the project stage ie. planning, construction etc and then within this is seperates existing and proposed. With renders that are saved to the project we can sort them correcntly into the right stage by renaming them but we get the ??? which I assume is because there is no 'phase' as such attached to them.

Anybody have any suggestions to getting rid of the '???'?

Thanks

Simon

I would not save Renderings in the project.  Once they are rendered I would export them as a jpeg (or whatever you'd like).  They take up a lot of memory and can slow your project way down.

With that said we have a Project Parameter created which we call folder.  We then use the Folder parameter as our Browser Organization then under Grouping and Sorting we sort by Discipline, Type and the Folders.  This "Folders" parameter gives each view an option in the view properties to create a sub folder which you can call whatever you want.  For exampl Revit will create a floor plan view and put it under Arch>Floor Plans>???>First Floor Plan you then click on the view and in the properties under Folder create something like Phase One.  After that the Project browser will read Arch?Floor Plans>Phase One>First Floor Plan.
