We are an architecture and interior design firm focusing on hospitality projects and often populate our models with extensive furniture.

One of my users recently encountered a problem where she could not copy some furniture families to the clipboard (from the 19th floor) and paste them aligned to another view (on the 6th floor).  The family would be pasted on top of its original (19th floor) location.  She could change the level in the element's properties, but this would accomplish nothing.  Additionally, when I tried to group these furniture families with some modeled-in-place families to copy to clipboard and paste aligned to another view, the pasted group would contain families in their original position and the modeled-in-place families in the new location.

Does anyone know what might be giong on?
