Hi, I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread. Just wondering how can I make multiline labels on my title block.  I want to have at least 5-liner label for my sheet content slot on my titleblock, but i couldn't make it happen.  How is it?

thanks po.

All lables can be multi-line.  When you place your label in your family shorten the text box around it to the length you want your words to drop down to the next line

  GROUND FLOOR PLAN

     2ND FLOOR PLAN

    NORTH ELEVATION

LONGITUDINAL SECTION

How do I enumerate these 4 possible sheet contents using just 1 label / parameter.

Thanks for the reply.

I think you will have to play with it and use Spaces after each one to drop it down to the next line if its not doing it itself.  You could also use 4 different lables

Thank you very much for your input sir.  I think i will just have to place several labels for each information i need.  But, 1 thing more, is there a way to load all customed-field parameters in a project file just once and not adding each and every customized labels I created to my project file?  It takes so much time adding them all up to a project.  Or maybe I'm not doing it correctly?

thanks po.

1 thing more.  is it possible to add filename on a titleblock family, so that whatever filename I make for my project, where the titleblock is also loaded,  the filename field on my titleblock automatically appears.  Just like the filename field in Autocad.  We incorporate filename in our titleblock to serve as our reference file.

thanks.

I keep writing that users should download and READ the "Families Guide" from the autodesk website.  See the clip below

Hi Bigbrother,

Try followings:

1. Go to sheet view A101 for example. Right click your title block, then click "Edit Family". This will bring up that family.

2. In "Create" tag, in "Text", click "Label", then click the spot where you want to place your lable, "Edit Label" window will pop-up.

3. In left panel select "Date/Time Stamp" move it to right panel, click OK.

4. Create another label, this time select "File Path", which has file path and file name.

5. Reload your title block into your project.

That's it. (Revit 2013)

You cannot make multiple bock for each title line, this is not possible, however use spaces or hit Enter to drop the new word on the next line until you completed the words you want in four lines that will look like you have for multiple blocks.
