Revit is great except the step where I try to convert or export the whole project into laser drawings, in order build a physical model. Obviously there are many floors, walls and roofs or planes; each requiring its own flat drawing or dxf file for laser cutting. Every time I have had to completely redraw the project in another program. I did some research but found no solution. Any suggestions?

Im not sure what the problem is. You can export whatever view you want to a .DXF file.  Did you look in your HELP?
