I am currently helping our Retial team and i'm having an issue with my CAD Translations. We export our Fixture Package out of Revit to send to specific vendors. I am currently using the Assemblies tool as a method to Isolate and create multiple views for inividual fixture drawings. The issue im having is my viewports in CAD are coming out stretched to fit whatever object is in the view. This means any lines that overlap with the viewport (most of them, square fixtures in plan & elevation) will not print, if i turn off depoints layer the edge lines of the fixtures all disappear. It would be very troublesome to have to stretch 6 viewports per drawing for 1,000 fixtures. Has anyone seen this before? I don't translate much to CAD and this typically hasnt been an issue with plans since my column grids are outlying my building. Any suggestions? FYI i have tried having view as exrefs or bound into single file both methods breed the same results.

I don't understand.  Are you exporting views or sheets?

This may be a program problem.  I would send it to AutoDESK.  The turnaround for that is very short.

Did you turn on crop region and manually set it yourself?

Yes, I have tried that as well. Thanks for looking into this. I will try and contact autodesk. I am not quite sure if this is an issue with Assemblies or if its an issue with detail views in general. I honestly haven't done full testing to see where else this problem exists.
